Allow me to begin by saying you are absolutely adorable. Your hair and eyes and skin tone work beautifully with Aradia's colors, and you even have the correct frame, body type and bust.
Now, I gave you a vision score of 2.5 mostly because it isn't really saying much as a piece of art. Yes, you're Aradia, but that doesn't really push forward a higher meaning than simply that.
I give you a 4 because I've never seen the horns done like that before, and they're absolutely gorgeous. The only reason I'm not putting you at a 5 is because the shirt is probably not your own design, and I can't see your lower half to judge the rest of the outfit.
I give you a 5 in technique because, once again, those horns are absolutely beautiful. They're seamlessly worked into the overall costume, and I can't even see how you attached them. They seem sturdy while showing no other way of being attached other than growing right out of your head! Amazing!
Impact is at a 1 because, well...it doesn't really mean anything. At all. Sorry.
Wonderful critique, thank you !
This is actually a work in progress cosplay, and I will be doing more extensive photoshoots as time goes on .
I did, in fact, make the shirt myself, with some paints and a black tee shirt .
It wasn't totally meant as a piece of art, but I suppose it is on deviantART, so i probably should have snuck a bit more effort into it hehe . Once again, the real stuff will come when I have grey body paint and get my bigger camera out rather than snapping a quick shot with my webcam .
Thank you so much C:
You made the shirt yourself? Wow! It looks really professional! I retract the mean-ness of that particular part of my critique.
haha it wasn't mean at all !! the critique was wonderful, and i thank you C:
and thank you ! i spent about a day making it, and it's much rougher in person, i think . some of the cardboard from my pattern is stuck into the edges of the paint .
